Bangladesh-China Power Company Limited (BCPCL) is a prominent state-backed power generation company in Bangladesh, operating as a 50:50 joint venture between Bangladesh's state-owned North-West Power Generation Company Limited (NWPGCL) and China's state-owned China National Machinery Import & Export Corporation (CMC). Established on October 1, 2014, the company was formed to introduce advanced power technologies and meet the growing electricity demands of the Bangladeshi economy.
