PGCB Job Circular 2026

Power Grid Bangladesh PLC (PGCBL), an enterprise of Bangladesh Power Development Board, is inviting online applications from eligible Bangladeshi citizens for various vacant posts related to the operation, maintenance, and development of the national power grid across the country.

Interested candidates must apply online through the Teletalk Bangladesh Limited website.


Application Fee and Payment Instructions

The application fee must be deposited via SMS using any Teletalk pre-paid mobile number within 72 hours of submitting the online application. The fee structure is as follows:

  • For Serial No. 01-04: BDT 112/- (One Hundred Twelve Taka) including Teletalk service charge.
  • For Serial No. 05: BDT 56/- (Fifty-Six Taka) including Teletalk service charge.

Important Instructions & Conditions

  • Candidates who have participated in recent examinations for the mentioned educational qualifications but are awaiting certificates/mark sheets/results are not eligible to apply.
  • For degrees obtained from foreign institutes, equivalence certificates from Bangladesh University Grants Commission (UGC) or government-recognized departments/organizations will be required.
  • The age of the candidate must be between a minimum of 18 years and a maximum of 32 years as of June 08, 2026.
  • However, for retired military/paramilitary personnel applying for Junior Security Inspector (Serial No. 4) and Security Guard (Serial No. 5) positions, the age limit is relaxable up to 40 years.
  • Candidates currently working in Government, Semi-Government, Autonomous, or State-owned companies/corporations must apply through the proper channel. They must submit a hard copy of their online application form along with necessary documents, forwarded by their controlling authority, to the General Manager (P&A), Principal Office, Power Grid Bangladesh PLC, Grid Bhaban, Avenue-3, Jahurul Islam City, Aftabnagar, Badda, Dhaka-1212, by June 30, 2026.
  • Government quotas will be followed as per prevailing government rules and regulations.
  • The appointment will initially be contractual for a period of one (01) year probation, followed by a two (02) year contract. Upon successful completion of the probation period, the job will be confirmed as per Power Grid service rules, and subsequent appointment will be based on personal performance evaluation.
  • Only candidates possessing the above-mentioned qualifications are requested to apply. Any false information or documents provided during the application will lead to disqualification at any stage of the selection process.
